This month, India will explode with light, colour, chaos, and fun.
It's time for the festival of Holi, and millions will be breaking social taboos to celebrate the coming of spring. In this week's lesson, we look at the symbolism of Holi, and examine what our festivals tell us about ourselves, and the world in which we live.
We are writing a new course for students at a B1 level. We have already released two sample lessons, on international food in the UK, and Alice in Wonderland.
This week, you can now find a third B1 lesson, on the topic of Television. Students can learn about TV programmes from the United Kingdom, before covering key vocabulary and grammar on adjectives. This will give students the language they need to create and describe a TV show of their own making, and to present their ideas to other students.
