So there are approximately 50 days until the end of term, when the teacher's age old freedom to roam free without a care in the world can be exercised! Where would you go and what would you do? Would you hang out with hipsters in Berlin? Bask in the spas round Reykjavik? Sip scotch in Edinburgh? Well, this weekly lesson can save you the money in doing all of those things and more, as we take you and your students on a round the world journey in this week's lesson, Hit the road.
Students will complete a series of reading and listening tasks to guess which city is being described, before giving a presentation about the city of their choice. This lesson is slightly experimental as it is somewhat different from our usual content, so please let us know how it goes, and whether your students liked it.
As always, the exit ticket at the end of the class can be a great way of gauging student thoughts about a lesson, as well as helping them to reflect on their learning progress, so if you haven't used one yet, why not try it out this week?
All the best
