We hope your students are not finding the exam period too stressful. This week's lesson is based on the popular board game, Cluedo, and is intended to develop students' fluency, reading, and use of modals of deduction.
Students will go through a series of pretty tough clues in order to work out the identity of the fiendish murderer and stop his (or her...) reign of terror. We hope that it provides a fun and useful supplement to this busy period of the school year.
And on a side note, have you heard of this game? Works great as a treat for groups who have done well, and teenagers love the dramatic elements of the game. It's only downside is that it's often too popular and students will demand to play it every lesson. Best used at the end of term on games day!
Have fun and good luck to all those taking exams!
